“Focus Iran 3: Contemporary Photography and Video”

A juried group show, organized in collaboration with Farhang Foundation, featuring artists’ perspectives about contemporary Iranian youth culture in photography and video.

Masters of the American West Art

Winning Numbers: The First, The Fastest, The Famous

Ten groundbreaking race cars with unique stories of triumph and victory from the collection of Bruce Meyer, Petersen founding chairman.

ORANGE COUNTY

Ending the Great War: Santa Ana’s Company “L”

The exhibition, which marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, includes the gas mask, uniform, medals, photographs and letters home from National Guard Sgt. Earl King’s service in France.

When: 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday through Feb. 28, with hours subject to change. Before visiting, verify the date and hours online

Upon a Painted Ocean: An Ode to the California Coast

Idyllic beach scenes, rock cliffs, and vistas by historical and contemporary painters pay tribute to the California Coast in this exhibition, whose title references Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s epic poem, “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.”

Self-Help Graphics, 1983-1991

A selection of prints from the East L.A. printmaking workshop and arts center born out of the Chicano movement of the 1960s. The exhibition is part of the Cheech @ RAM series of exhibitions leading to the opening of The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Arts, Culture and Industry of the Riverside Art Museum.

Beast
