The Anaheim Lions Tournament is an 88-team baseball tournament.
With so many teams, it seems unlikely that teams from the same league would meet in the tournament championship game. But that is what’s happening.
Two Freeway League teams, Sunny Hills and Troy, will meet in the Lions Tournament championship game at Glover Stadium in Anaheim on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
The teams that are 4-0 and have allowed the fewest number of runs are the teams that advance to the Lions tournament championship game. Sunny Hills and Troy went 4-0, both by four-game cumulative scores of 37-6.
They played each other in a Freeway League game March 13. Sunny Hills won, 6-5.
