Cross competed in the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships at Nottwil in 2017.Cross finished second in the para-ambulatory 100 and 200 at the state meet in 2018 when whe was a senior at Trabuco Hills.
Henry Waterman of Mater Dei and Trabuco Hills alum Michelle Cross are among the 20 athletes selected to be on Team USA at the 2019 World Para Athletics Junior Championships.
The event is Aug. 1-4 at Nottwil, Switzerland.
Waterman just completed his junior year at Mater Dei. He was CIF State champion in the para-ambulatory 100 and 200 at the state meet this past season.
