JSerra’s senior duo of speedy running back Chris Street and towering offensive tackle Jeffrey Persi have committed to colleges.
Street (5-11, 205) recently committed to Cal while Persi (6-7, 265) delivered a pledge to Michigan.
Both players were key contributors last season for JSerra, which finished 9-3 and reached the second round of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.
Street rushed for 1,342 yards and 17 TDs behind an offensive line that featured Persi among others.
Street was selected first-team All-Trinity League.
He also is the third Orange County recruit from the class of 2020 to commit to Cal, joining Servite offensive tackle Ender Aguilar and Capistrano Valley tight end Jake Muller.
Persi is the first Orange County recruit to commit to Michigan since Santa Margarita wide receiver Kekoa Crawford and Corona del Mar athlete Peter Bush in 2016. Crawford now attends Cal.
