Peter’s Gourmade Grill in Tustin is hosting a fundraiser today from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. to benefit late Tustin and SOCAL water polo and swimming coach Cesar Altamirano.
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will go to the Cesar Altamirano Memorial Fund for the promising 26-year-old coach who recently died after a serious car accident.
Guests are encouraged to mention Cesar’s name before placing their order.
The family-operated restaurant is located at 14311 Newport Ave, Suite A in Tustin, 92780.
Owner John Norman said his Altamirano was a regular patron at his restaurant. “I’m just trying to do anything I can to do help,” Norman said.
