Pickleball tournament in Mission Viejo will raise funds for cancer research, services

Mission Viejo will host its inaugural Paddle for the Battle double-elimination charity pickleball tournament on Sunday, May 5, at the Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center.

All event registration fees will go directly to the American Cancer Society to help raise money for research and support patient services.

Each division will feature 12 teams. Registration is $80 per team and includes a goodie bag and prizes for first and second place in each division. Single players should call 949-859-4348 ext. 5722 to be paired with another player before registration. Maiz Cocina will be onsite selling Mexican fare for players and spectators.
