Cami Brown, University, Jr.
Brown broke through last season by sweeping her singles matches against eventual champion Corona del Mar in the CIF-SS Division 1 team final.
Kristina Evloeva, Corona del Mar, Sr.
Evloeva could emerge as the No. 1 singles player for the defending Division 1 champion, which sent county player of the year Danielle Willson to USC.
Janie Marcus, Corona del Mar, Sr.
Marcus is an impact newcomer who studied online last year.
Courtney Swift, Dana Hills, Sr.
The recent Air Force commit played hard court and clay court girls nationals over the summer.
Michelle Zell, Foothill, Jr.
The reigning Crestview League MVP could challenge Brown as the top junior in the county but don’t forget about Laguna Beach’s Ella Pachl.
TOP 10 TEAMS
1.Corona del Mar
The reigning CIF-SS Division 1 champion moves to the Sunset League but expect another powerhouse team. Senior Roxy MacKenzie is another player to watch.
2.University
The Trojans have the depth to challenge in Division 1 and have added talented freshman Jane Lee.
3. Dana Hills
The Dolphins feature ace Courtney Swift but again have their sights on South Coast League rival San Clemente.
4. San Clemente
The Tritons have shared the past four South Coast League titles with Dana Hills and turn to new No. 1 Jenna Yeam.
5. Northwood
The Timberwolves could be contenders in the Pacific Coast League with twins Frances and Michelle Kroll in doubles.
