Noteworthy: The pitcher allowed only one earned run in a pair of complete-game victories and belted two solo home runs to help the Grizzlies win the CIF-SS Division 4 title. Carlos fired a two-hit shutout and hit two solo home runs in a 5-0 victory against Culver City in the semifinals and tossed a five-hitter with five strikeouts in a 15-1 victory against El Segundo in the finals.
