Singles ace Cami Brown and the doubles team of Mya Wang and Emily Markus swept as University’s top-seeded girls tennis team defeated visiting Corona del Mar 10-8 in the semifinals of the CIF-SS Open Division on Wednesday.

University will play No. 2 Campbell Hall of North Hollywood in the finals of the first-year division Friday at The Claremont Club at 10:45 a.m.

The Trojans will be seeking their first section championship in their sixth finals appearance.

University lost in the Division 1 final last season to Corona del Mar but defeated the Sea Kings on Wednesday for a second time this fall.

Brown edged Corona del Mar’s Kristina Evloeva 7-6 in the second round to give University a 7-5 lead against their former Pacific Coast League rival.

In the third round, rising Trojans freshman Jane Lee defeated Janey Marcus of Corona del Mar 6-1 to help seal the victory.

In other results Wednesday, Dana Hills (Division 1), Aliso Niguel (Division 2), Laguna Beach (Division 3), Huntington Beach (Division 3) and El Toro (Division 4) each won semifinals to reach the finals Friday at The Claremont Club.

Orange County will be represented in five of the six divisions and bring home at least one title with Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach – both from the Wave League – clashing for the Division 3 crown at 1 p.m.

In the Division 3 semifinals, Laguna Beach defeated top-seeded Long Beach Wilson 11-7 while Huntington Beach beat Pasadena Poly by the same 11-7 margin.

The Breakers are seeking their 12th team title while the Oilers will make their first finals appearance.

In Division 1, South Coast League co-champion Dana Hills edged Troy 10-8 to reach the final against top-seeded Mira Costa. The Division 1 final is set for 10:30 on Friday morning.

Dana Hills reach its first final since 2011.

Aliso Niguel reach its first section final by defeated visiting Ayala 10-8 in the Division 2 semifinals and will play La Canada in Friday’s 11 a.m. championship.

In Division 4, El Toro also reached its first final by posting an 11-7 victory at Culver City on Wednesday to reach Friday’s 1:15 p.m. championship against Bishop Montgomery.
