Mater Dei sharp-shooting water polo attacker Tea Poljak has enrolled at Laguna Beach, Breakers coach Ethan Damato confirmed Wednesday morning.

Damato said Poljak, a 6-foot-2 junior committed to USC, enrolled this week and has started training with the Breakers.

Poljak is the third player from Mater Dei’s girls team – a Division 1 semifinalist last season – to transfer to another school.

She joins senior defender Brooke Banta, who left for Newport Harbor, and rising freshman Anna Pearson, now at Orange Lutheran.

Poljak was a second-team all-Trinity League selection last season. She scored four goals in Mater Dei’s victory against Foothill in the Division 1 final of the CIF State SoCal Regionals last season.

Mater Dei captured the past two Trinity League titles.
