Orange County offensive player of the week: Anthony Munoz, Western

The Orange County Register offensive player of the week for Aug. 20, 2018:

The senior quarterback completed 17 of 27 passes (63 percent) for 340 yards and a school-record seven touchdowns to lead the Pioneers to a season-opening 69-33 victory against Cerritos. Munoz also set the school’s career record for passing touchdowns by raising his total to 46 and he wasn’t intercepted. “Anthony spread the ball around very well with five different guys catching touchdowns,” Western coach Dan Davidson said. “(He was) so composed.” Munoz carries a 4.5 grade-point average and is ASB vice president.
